📈 Current Price: ~$73 (sealed) [Up 33% or ~$20 this month]

💡 Analysis: Prices are soaring which is usually the opposite for a brand new main set. This could be due to the number of Pikachu in both or simply the holidays. I predict Pokemon will start printing this set more and the prices will lower closer to MSRP (~$50-60)

Pikachu VMAX (Secret) - SWSH04: Vivid Voltage (SWSH04)

🤑 Current Price: ~$135 (Raw) [Up 22% or $21 this month]

🔥 Analysis: This is Vivid Voltage’s crown jewel. There are not many cards in the set that have a high price. With the next highest card being only around $10. This card drew a high initial demand and seems to be rising again.

Terapagos ex - 170/142 - SV07: Stellar Crown (SV07)

📉 Current Price: ~$77 (Raw) [Down 33% or $43 the past three months ]

Analysis: Many cards in Stellar Crown have started to either rise or stay the same. Not this card, This card continues to decline. Personally, I did not find this card interesting or appealing. Most likely suffered a lot of Fear of Missing out or FOMO. I would not be surprised over the next couple of months this card continues to decline.

Pikachu ex - 238/191 - SV08: Surging Sparks (SV08)

Fun Fact: This card is already in the Top 50 most expensive cards you can buy on TCGPlayer and is easily available.

Why It’s Noteworthy: Most cards tend to reach this spot years after the release. This card was there instantly. My fear is we may be entering another bubble where we see cards rising at an alarming rate and will need a correction/decline across the market. Seeing people buy a card for $400+ that has only been public for less than 3 months is not good. We will have to see if this card plummets or grow.

💡 Collector’s Tip of the Week

Christmas: It is currently the week before Christmas expect shipping delays and possible lost packages. There is a lot of mail going around. Make sure to have tracking on packages and keep a close eye on packages left on the porch.
